Description
DIGITAL COURT REPORTERS:
Seeking digital court reporters to work for our growing company. We are a completely remote, one-stop-shop, court reporting company focusing on depositions and EUOs. We provide the platform, the court reporter, video and audio, transcript and repository services. Our company was founded as a remote company and will continue to be a completely remote company after pandemic restrictions end.
Duties include recording and annotating proceedings, live playback of the record, managing exhibits, as well as impartially facilitating the deposition/EUO experience. Ability to perform research, confirm spellings, take transcript orders and provide detailed notes for our editing staff are all important skills.
Ideal candidates would have legal transcription experience, have excellent English and grammar skills, have a can-do attitude and understand the importance of reliability and good communication. We are also keen to work with new reporters who have completed a training program as digital court reporters.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Notary in the state they reside
- AAERT-certified CER (preferred)
- Type 50+ wpm
- HS Diploma
- Looking for reporters throughout the country
**Remote Legal is willing to invest in the training of new reporters who are working, or have worked on our editing staff.**
EDITORS:
Assist in production of final deposition and EUO transcripts from AI-generated documents.
Minimum of 2 years legal transcription experience (depositions/EUOs in particular).
AAERT-certified CET (preferred).
Ensure correct formatting, punctuation, grammar, and incorporation of client-specific guidelines.
Team player with strong spelling and grammar skills who enjoys collaborating.
