Equipment Requirements:

• Infinity USB Foot Pedal, headphones, and free version of Express Scribe software. 
• MS Word (Microsoft Word 2016, 2019, and Office 365) or CAT software. (We do not offer support for CAT software.)
• PC-based computer with Windows 8.1 or better. (Most software companies in this industry are PC friendly. You can use a Mac in this course, but we do not offer support for Mac-specific questions. You cannot use a Mac if you plan to use the trial DR software provided.)

  • This CEU course will cover types of courts, types of law, and life cycle of a case.

  • This course will go over some different terminology you may encounter while transcribing. Sections include legal, medical, historical/Latin, business, and pop culture terminology.
