Opti-Script, an industry leader in legal and medical transcription as well as digital court reporting, is seeking a qualified candidate for their Legal Workflow Coordinator position.

POSITION:  Full-time, home-based, working Monday through Friday 8a to 5p.

EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of 3 years of recent experience producing legal transcripts including working with audio/video recordings, transcribing or proofing and finalizing transcripts.  Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat a must.  Experience with multiple audio players and formats is a plus.

SKILLS:  The successful applicant will have exceptional critical thinking and research skills with wide knowledge of legal transcription and/or court reporting.  A keen eye for detail is a must!  Applicant must have the ability to manage deadlines, communicate effectively and positively with customers and team members, as well as coordinate other’s schedules and assignments.  AAERT’s CER or CET Certification is not required but would be considered a plus.

 DUTIES:  Coordinating legal transcription workflow between customers and Opti team members by processing new work, answering questions, assigning work to both employees and contractors, checking in completed work, and finalizing/delivering final transcripts.

 This position is for an employee position rather than an independent contractor.  We pay the required taxes and offer benefits to full-time employees including health, dental, life and vision insurance; PTO time accrual; paid holidays; IRA; and credit union membership.  Pay is direct deposited.  High speed cable or DSL is required.  A computer system, related hardware and software are supplied at no charge.
